Providing excellent training in Dance and Acrobatics

My training: 

I began taking lessons in Ballet, Tap and Modern from the age of four where I discovered my love of dance. I took part in numerous dance shows and competitions during my school years and have performed in a range of settings including: Disneyland, Paris,  His Majesty's Theatre, London and Sadler's Wells Theatre, London as well as being part of the Sussex Youth Ballet Company.

Throughout my life I have completed my Ballet exams with the Royal Academy of Dance from Primary level up to Advanced 1 Ballet and in my teenage years I also completed Intermediate level exam in Modern Dance with Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. I also pursued dance in an academic setting including it in one of my sports in GCSE PE and achieving A-Level Dance.

I completed vocational dance training at Ballet West, Scotland where I trained in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial dance styles and completed my HND Professional Dance Performance and BA(Hons) Dance. I also performed in classical ballets: Swan Lake, Giselle and The Nutcracker performing in venues across Scotland. 

My teaching:

I have always enjoyed teaching and supporting children in their growth and have worked in a school setting for the past 4 years. I completed my PGCE in Primary Education with the University of Southampton in 2022 and use the knowledge learnt here to aid me in my dance teaching.

Since In 2021 I have been a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and have had the pleasure of delivering their carefully structured syllabus to children of varying ages as well as supporting dancers in the completion of their ballet exams.

Recently, I have completed my instructor training in AcroDance with Acrobatic Arts and I am a Module 1 Certified Teacher.
